(closed 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. for lunch)
Wednesday & Friday:
8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
We open for labs on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday at 7:20 a.m. for patients with lab appointments only. Labs are drawn on a first come, first serve basis. Phones will not be answered until 8:00 a.m. If you miss your lab appointment, please call our office to reschedule. Follow-up appointments to review labs will be automatically cancelled when lab appointments are missed.
David A. McMillion, MD
David McMillion, MD is a native of Huntsville, Alabama, growing up on Monte Sano Mountain. He graduated from Huntsville High School in 1995, UAH in 2000 , and received his medical degree from The University of Alabama School of Medicine (UAB) in 2005. David completed his residency at The UAB Huntsville Family Medicine Residency Program in 2008 and is board certified in Family Medicine. During residency he served as Chief Resident and received several honors including Outstanding Teaching Resident. Dr. McMillion's interests include mountain biking and Crossfit.
Christy Cantey, CRNP
Christina (Christy) Cantey, CRNP is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner and is licensed with the Alabama Board of Nursing. She grew up in Alabama and has been a Huntsville resident since college. Christy received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama in Huntsville in 2000 and her Master of Science degree in Nursing from UAH in 2003. She has worked as a nurse in both the ICU and in a cardiology setting. In 2013, Christy completed her Post Master's Nurse Practitioner degree and began working with Dr. McMillion. Christy is a member of The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and has taught nursing at the university level. She has a special interest in patient education.
Jessica Walters, CRNP
Jessica Walters, CRNP is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner and is licensed with the Alabama Board of Nursing. She is a Huntsville, Alabama native and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama in Huntsville in 2015. Jessica has worked in a cardio thoracic surgery step down unit, a cardiac short stay unit at Huntsville Hospital, and has served as a substitute nurse for Huntsville City Schools. In December of 2017, Jessica completed her Master of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Alabama in Huntsville. She began working with Dr. McMillion in February of 2018. Jessica's special interests are preventive health, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease management.
Tiaya Lang, CRNP
Tiaya Lang, CRNP is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner and licensed with the Alabama Board of Nursing. Tiaya is a Susan Moore, AL native. She received her Bachelor's of Science in Nursing from Troy University in December of 2010. She worked for several years as a travel ICU nurse. In May of 2017, Tiaya completed her Master's of Science degree in Nursing from Troy University. She began working with Dr. McMillion in November 2018. Tiaya's special medical interests include all aspects of family medicine with a focus on preventive health and wellness.
